Oh lort, don’t tell Yoop Don Beebe is heralding the weapons Rodgers had…

wow, what does Don Beebe actually know that all of us don't? I'am being serious now, zipo, we know that a lot of the struggles Jordan dealt with last year had to do with his injuries to start the year, that protection, blocking was inconsistent most of the year, and that we were near tops in the league with dropped passes, we also saw the difference when all 3 of those things were in top form to end the 23 season, Jordan was whipping dart balls, he had better protection, and no one was dropping anything.

for me it's hard to get a true eval of the receivers, they had shown better prior, could the second year slump be true for all?

Rodgers had a pretty good group of receivers till 2017, after that it was Adams and ?????? nada, a bunch of number 4's, we all would have witnessed just how pathetic it was had we lost Adams for big parts of those two seasons.

we've seen these receivers do better, but we lost Watson, and we need to replace that production, or at least attempt too, he didn't take a receiver last year so it's time to use a 2nd again on one, I'd trade back up in the 2nd for Higgins

Lmao. Yeah, what does Don Beebe know? He only played at that level himself, specifically playing at the position I won't shut up about. :rotf:

Beebe has a good point. Reason(s): consistency, fewer drops, getting open regularly, elevating game against top tier talent, etc.

Name one or more of our WRs who has become a proven performer on an elite scale. We've had that conversation plenty.

We didn't add much to the LB room and we can still use some depth/bodies there, so I like the move there.

I love the UDFA we added. I love the low-risk addition of a very talented former 1st-round pick who didn't find his niche. I love Cooper. I think Walker can do his best when he doesn't carry the unit.

I suddenly am thrilled with our LB room.

Simmons seems a lot like Quay Walker

I've been excited about them since last year. It isn't an elite group (yet). But there is still loads of upside, especially as Joe Barry, um, sorry, I mean Hafley enacts is diabolical scheme adjustments!

I never considered the friendship link Josh Jacobs must have had with Henry Ruggs. Both Alabama players, both played for Raiders. They were tight.

Here is Jacobs putting a human face to the guy that was buried by everybody for what he did. What Ruggs did was very, very wrong but the reality is it was one terrible decision that had even worse consequences.

I also respect Jacobs for sharing this despite the blowback it likely brought.

Wow. Honestly maybe the best situation for Ruggs is to be with his good friend in Green Bay if he gets another chance.

Josh Jacobs is a very eloquent communicator and leader.

Really great interview with Josh Jacobs on his life story from childhood through to his final years with the Raiders, plus a bit of his first year with us this past season. This is a special dude, I'm really glad we have him.

He also talked about the stretch with Willis in at QB last year. Get this... Willis said being here in GB was so different than it was in Tennessee because our coaches on offense actually took the time to teach him how to play the position. 😶 So all that time in TEN, he was just being thrown out there unprepared by his coaches.

LOL TITANS!!

I actually have a sneaky feeling that Willis signs an extension to stay in GB as the backup. It would honestly be the lower risk career move. Better to stay with a team as a desired backup rather than go to some trash organization and get thrown to the wolves only to be out of the league in 2 years.

Willis has seen the rough side. I think he stays in GB.

On the other hand, he could be out of the league in 2 years with more cash than being a backup for many, with the potential to stay for many as a starter, making megabucks.
