From Lambeau to Lombardi, Holmgren, McCarthy and LaFleur and from Starr to Favre, Rodgers and now Jordan Love we’re talking Super Bowl Champion Green Bay Packers football. This Packers Forum is the place to talk NFL football and everything Packers. So, pull up a keyboard, make yourself at home and let’s talk some Packers football.
no we don't , that is your opinion of people who have shown respect for who he was and could have remained with better receiver help,
I was referring to people on social media who are mad at Aaron Glenn for being cold towards Rodgers in telling him they are moving on from him (this assumes Rodgers's depiction of the event is 100% truthful), not people on here or your PET Issue.
But by taking offense/assuming I meant you, you are telling on yourself!
you became so upset with the person it warped your opinion of his talent
There is not a single example in my post history of me denying Rodgers's talent. Nice try.
Actually no, terrible try. Miserable, even!
ever notice that I rarely ever speak concerning Rodgers, except when you diss him , and I don't pay attention to Aaron Glenn or Rodgers comments, havn't watched or listened to McCaffery in probably a year or more, I try and stay away from football gossip, and thats probably all this is, media fodder, actually I thought Rodgers was let go prior to the hiring of Glenn?????
Rodgers will go down as one of our best QB's, and like a bunch of others before him, a disgruntled Packer with a ego complex, The last part will be forgotten over time.
I think psychologically, part of the "draft fall" Rodgers endured has got him really into draft weekend news cycles and he has successfully dominated many of them. I suspect the Steelers signing comes Thursday or Friday to get a Rodgers-related news cycle overlapping with the Green Bay draft. I'd imagine it comes before their pick Thursday, but it could really stretch things out if it goes into Friday and the Steelers don't take a QB at 21
I think he’s cucked the Steelers and wants to be a Viking and he doesn’t want to do any offseason and he’ll be signing with Minnesota before preseason as they say jj needs a mentor and extra year after last years wasted season for him
I bet the plan for the jets was to talk with Rodgers if he gave an enthusiastic YES to wanting to play for them. He gave a word salad “I’m interested”, and they said then said no thanks
I think he failed Glenn’s easy test in the interview and they ended the interview. He probably doesn’t even realize that’s what it was, but seemed clear to me in the story he told

This thought also crossed my mind. But it's hard to tell without having been there.

I don’t think Rodgers had interest in playing for the Jets. He was there two years and they sucked. Part of that is him getting hurt, part of that was him but he wants to win. He’s not hanging around with a bunch of bums. I think he realized what everyone else already knew except him. That the Jets are run by an owner that’s too involved and too uninformed.
We have this strange breed of fan that seems to believe that HOF players should be treated like literal human royalty.
What nonsense. Nobody disputes or tries to discredit the actual body-of-work for which he is considered a HOF player. If you did find such a person, you would have a valid point about that person's disrespect.
It does not follow that they are above reproach in everything else especially when they are well past the point of being elite.
Could AR not sign until the season starts when an injury occurs and that team shells out for him?
Could someon use him as a reliever?
other than going to the Vikings, partly because it's a good situation and in part the revenge stuff, or going to a west coast team, I always felt this was his backup plan, and may end up his only shot now, I think he's probably burned his bridge with Pittsburg.
Rodgers has been floating around, reminds me of how Shedeur Sanders has fallen out of the first 3 rounds of the draft, teams are leary of head cases, no more inmates running the asylum thinking there the boss wanted, thank you

AR would loathe that. He is super specific about system, timing and communication, so I can't imagine he'd be down to coming into a system built for someone else and try and get on same page with others on offense mid-season.
I think he signs today or shortly after the draft, or not at all.
