Ok I’ll shut up now. Well I’m basically not excited for anyone in the rest of this class. I guess I want Walter Nolan. Probably shouldn’t have said that.paco wrote: ↑24 Apr 2025 20:21lupedafiasco wrote: ↑24 Apr 2025 20:19Didn’t think Loveland would go in the 1st. Pushes one down for us. SF just seems to always find the right years to suck.

This draft has gone off the rails. Had a feeling it would when all the prospects from about 8 on were all over the place. It was impossible to get a beat on anything.

Thank god. I expected Grant to go early. Teams always overdraft NTs for some reason. I was terrified Gutenbumst would make that pick.

R1 you have to take a DT or Edge. Doesn’t really matter which but I would lean DT because it’s deeper in the 1st round and thins out a little later.
R2 you have to get a WR. After the 2nd unless we plan to move up in the 3rd a lot of players that are ready now are gone. If you don’t come out of the first 2 rounds with a WR you are playing a very dangerous game at the position that desperately needs some who can consistently win against DBs.
R3 you just take what you didn’t in the 1st at either DT or Edge. I think Edge here actually has a lot of talent. You probably don’t get a dominant every down Edge but you can get some pass rush productivity with one of the tweeners or take a swing at one of the size/weight freaks. At DT there is still talent that’s fallen because of how deep the position is in the first two rounds.
From there you can just lean into BPA when trying to fill out the depth of this team at CB, LB, and OL.
So who are you hoping for at this point? I am just signing on so haven't looked back at the thread much
There are a lot of great players still available. We have a plethora of needs.
Barron, Golden, Harmon, Nolen are still all available and all players I had in my "would love to have" list.

There we go!!!!
Another guy I didn't really want in GB with Ebuka off the board. Assuming PIT takes a QB, we will have a good player available to us.

Pretty much in on Harmon, Golden, or Campbell. Thought we would have no shot at Golden after the Campbell lets you let Quay Walker walk a year from now and rectifies taking a 3rd round prospect in the 1st round a few years ago. Harmon to me offers so much flexibility at DT because he can play NT or 3T.
Forgot about Will Johnson somehow. That would be my top guy I think right now. I see the risks but i also think there’s potential there to be a shutdown CB especially in this scheme.

I have been harping for WR help. I guess I would love Golden at this point. I am sure it won't happen since it's what I want. LOL
goddammit.
I was smiling at the kid too thinking how cool it was for Make A Wish and then he takes MY GUY.

Thing that worries me about Golden is it sounds like Texas was surprised he ran a 4.29
Harmon, Bahron and Johnson were my three biggest crushes as the draft went in our "area"
Sucks to see 2 of them go at 19 and 21
