I've always like Adams too. Gave us a lot. Too many on his case when he left and I'm just wondering why. heck of a guy, heck of a player.

Re: Cheese Curds - News Around The League 2025
Isn't it really crazy that Packers fans have interest in a player that was with them for 18 years and gave them a Super Bowl (I know, what is that again)? I'm still interested. Unlike a lot, I do want to see him do well. He's one of the best QB's I've ever had the pleasure of watching and it was fo...

Re: OT: Hard Knocks
I probably wouldnt' watch no matter who, even GB. I haven't ever watched one. I've always felt, if you want to know what it's like inside a locker room or in that team building phase of Training, be a part of the team. Otherwise you just don't get to know other than what they want to share later wit...

Re: 2025 NFL Draft - Football Thread
He Deion, go coach the Buffalos, you're not a Brown. This whole thing has gotten so out of control. all this for a marginally mediocre college QB LOL. This should be the meeting. We drafted you, you get to compete for a spot. Here's your playbook, learn it. See you at Rookie orientation. Dad, you ca...

Re: Jaire
[ I mean all I really want is for Jaire to want to be a Packer. Based on his actions over the offseason, it seems he wants to be a Packer more than the Packers want him to be a Packer. I have no idea what to believe anymore. I think it's as likely he's acting like he wants to be a Packer maybe righ...

Re: Pick 124 - Barryn Sorrell, DE
I haven't been watching at all today, but just got back from taking my son to a birthday party and caught some draft talk on the radio and this guy was being interviewed. Had no idea who he was, or what position he played, but you could feel the graciousness, genuine gratitude, emotion, thanks etc i...

Re: Pick 87 - Savion Williams, WR TCU
2020 when LaFleur had a vision for Dillon and Deguara. Both were clear overdrafts from the exact moment we took them and just like right now Packers fans did anything they could to spin some justifiable reason for such atrocious picks. I kind of get that feeling too, he's a specific guy they have a...

Re: Pick 87 - Savion Williams, WR TCU
Not much polish when it comes to the intricacies of route running and the game, but man when he has the ball, he's big, he's fast, he cuts and changes direction with ease and really cool to watch.

Re: Cheese Curds - News Around The League 2025
I’ve never made that proclamation. I’ve always been a thousand ways to Rome type guy. So many ways to reach it. Offense, defense, special teams, health, luck, coin flips, cheating, weather, whatever and any combination of those and a thousand other things influence seasons and Super Bowl championshi...

Re: Pick 23: WR Matthew Golden
It would have been nice to use this pick on a CB but the stupid decision to play a hurt Watson in a meaningless game and give him a major injury made using this pick on a WR absolutely necessary. Watson isn't very good anyway. He has speed but that is it. Not a very good route runner, too many drop...

I liked football more when everyone wasn't afraid to use their best players on special teams. It was better.

Re: Pick 23: WR Matthew Golden
I like his attitude. Seems like a football player. I dont' care for all the flash, but he'd probably think i'm boring as &%$@ so we're even. But he comes off as a pure football player, I like that. A tad small for me, but how do you say no to the elite speed, quick change ability and hands? It a...

Re: Pick 23: WR Matthew Golden
Can we just drop the Watson shouldn't have played stuff. That ACL was toast. It snapped just running down the field. You know what WR"s do? Run down the field. It was inevitable. It was already done, we just didn't know it yet. He could just as easily been held out of that game and skipped the ...

Re: Cheese Curds - News Around The League 2025
AI can bit my ass LOL I watched the games not digested people's interpretations :) I'm not saying he was trash. He did have a long career, where he hardly missed any games. He was average otherwise, really, it's all he was. The WOW plays were the skill player making it WOW. His biggest WOW play wasn...

Re: Cheese Curds - News Around The League 2025
that describes almost everyone that will be drafted between tomorrow and Saturday at the QB position. They almost all have adequate arms and relatively same stature. I don't know that football IQ was that much better, better than a lot probably. Not nearly as good as a lot, also probably. To me, ave...

Re: Cheese Curds - News Around The League 2025
Eli was a mediocre QB with some good fortune and a defense that rose up when it mattered. That's it. Without the name or the defense and some crazy catches, he's one that is good enough to stick in the league, but teams are always trying to upgrade from.

Re: Green Bay Packers’ News - 2025
There's a lot that goes into being a GM. Is he the best over, heck no. Is he good, i'd say yes. Is he as bad as some of his draft picks, I'd say definitely not. heck, Bill B. had stinkers of drafts everywhere, but he made up for it in other ways. Gutey has had some poor drafts, he's had some good on...

Re: 2025 NFL Draft - Football Thread
I used to pop in for some fan takes on evaluation, but I don't even really do that anymore. Lost the draft bug a long time ago it seems. Just don't follow college enough to know anything. Even with time, I'm just not digging into it anymore. I still like the draft, it's a time to restock shelves. I ...
